I may never leave again!

My two favorite people did very well without me while I was in Las Vegas. I had an amazing time on my little vacation too! We went to see Phantom of the Opera and I will never forget how amazing it was. We also had lots of fun going to all the Quilt Shops in and around Vegas, which was the purpose of the trip! In case I haven't said, I have a very serious disease that may last for the rest of my life. I seem to have caught Quilting Pox. And it is very contagious! I took a class this summer and even finished my very first wall hanging. Although there is a very embarrasing and humorous story to that, but you'll have to ask nicely to be told about it. I have also become friends with the owner of a store here and I am making a quilt for her shop this winter and then it will be displayed there this spring. Then next winter I can bring it home! She is the one that I caught Quilting Pox from, but I think she is one of the most amazing women that I know. So all in all it was a Great trip until I came home! My little girl was very happy to see her mom and was super-glued to me the rest of the day. Then she decided to be Very Mad at mom. So she screamed and cried and even threw a few tantrums until about 4 Am, Non-Stop! When she finally went to sleep Dave and I were almost crazy and oh so very Tired. So I may not leave again until she is 30. Just kidding, at least I know that she missed me!

Will they Survive?

Kamie and Dave were spending the morning together on Saturday. She is so fascinated with the gas fireplace and decided to check it out. Dave said he was Watching her, you know how well dad's Watch the kids! Kamie stuck her nose on the glass of the fireplace. I guess it wasn't too bad because I only found out about it 2 hours later! She cried for a while and then she was fine. For the last few days she has kept her distance from it. It really isn't funny, but the face she made for this picture is just soo cute!
So as I am packing to go to Vegas I'm really wondering how the two of them will survive for 3 days! This will be my first time away from Kamie for more than a few hours since she was in Primary Children's in 2006. Eeek!
