Well last week I went in for my Echo cardiogram and it was the Coolest thing I have seen in a while! I was able to see the different chambers of my heart as well as the actual pumping of the muscles. It was really amazing. I mean I KNOW that I have a heart inside, but I have never actually seen it so it could have been a football for all I know. Anyway I was so excited about everything they were doing that the tech told me I should enroll in nursing classes. She's not the first person to say that to me. That thought has been bouncing around in my head a lot lately, who knows stranger things have happened.
So now for the good news, the results from the echo came back and my heart is normal and very healthy. There isn't any damage so far from my high blood pressure. The bad news, I have REALLY crappy genetics. No refund or exchange on them they are all mine and they really suck. So I look forward to taking my medication for the rest of my life, but the new med is helping to bring the blood pressure down. Although David is not helping, we haven't found a cure for him yet. Maybe a straight jacket and a muzzle?(Just kidding, I really wouldn't like Dave any other way than as himself) So maybe one day in the next few years we will start talking babies again.

Good to know you're otherwise healthy! If you'd like natural ways to control your blood pressure, celery, garlic, and honey are all good. They're all mentioned (along with some other things) in the book Miracle Food Cures from the Bible. Greg has high blood pressure too; he drinks Goji juice (you can also eat Goji berries -- they're less expensive than the juice, work just as well, and are more portable).
Oops, I should have said that they are dried Goji berries. I eat them, and actually prefer them over raisins.
